Corn on the cob

She carried this around with her wherever we went for the first hour we were there.
Occasionally getting a bite as we went along the way.

No, that’s not our back yard. But boy did we have a great time on Saturday at the annual company picnic.
Calling it a “picnic” doesn’t quite do the event justice. It was really more of a private company fair, complete
with rides, free food, animals, performers, and much more that we’ll share here throughout the week.
Here are some of the little things Nora’s doing now.
I have a hard time believing that her birthday was six months ago! Looking back on pictures from her party, she looks so little! Of course, in six more months, I’ll see the pictures from now and say the same thing. :)

What else are tree stumps good for anyway? Here’s another angle.

Lauren found Nora with a bed full of books that she’d
pulled in after she awoke from her afternoon nap.
Here’s a collection of five, 5-second clips from the past month. Inspired by this, who was inspired by this.

We can only guess how totally embarrassed she was to find a promotion like that in Mommy’s purse.

Everything about this picture reminds me of The Little Rascals — the hacked together fence,
the tempting hole in it, Nora’s dirty pants with blue chalk on the bottom, the protective dog…

I especially love how little kids can sit so happily in a position like this.
