Beach Trip ‘07

Posted by Josh in Family, Movies on September 30, 2007 | « Back to main

A yearly family beach trip is something not to be missed. Rain or shine.

Although you may not be able to tell, it rained throughout the entire shooting of that video (well, if you don’t count the signature Mandy Robinson photos at the end :). Combine that with 13 people, a tiny pool, and an over-sized $1 beachball (thanks, Annie!), you’ve got yourself a rocking pool party.

And here’s the YouTube version that’ll load faster, but is a reduction in quality.

Awesome stuff Josh - thanks for putting it together. Great memories of a $1.00 over-sized beachball thanks to the wise investor, Aunt Annie.

HEY! A lot of those pictures at the end are from me stolen off of facebook! But I LOVE the video. I think I have watched it atleast 12 times. Maybe more. It has a “Wonder Years” feel to it. We’re just so darn adorable.

Bravo! Bravo! Awesome video, Josh. The Robinson girls have enjoyed watching it so much. What a great weekend. Thank you for making the video so quick.

Thanks for the compliments… although Lauren was the one behind the scenes making this one happen. I’m really only responsible for the soundtrack. The main song is titled ‘My Eyes’ by the band Travis. It can be purchased on iTunes here. Pretty good album through and through… :)

Thank you, Josh and Lauren! Mary Ellen and Caroline were mesmerized while I played it (and Caroline must have pointed to the screen a hundred times to yell “ball”). Can’t wait for you to come get our video footage and make a feature length film!

Love the video! I watched it about 10 times tonight… my favorite part is the slide show with the pictures and the song. I get weepy looking at the pictures of the girls…I can’t imagine what I would be like if I ever had my own! Can’t wait for the beach trip next year…do we have to wait 11 more months???!!!
