Alright, kids, we’ve got this week and then the big day. Last night as I was going over the last few things we have to do, it occurred to me that if some things don’t get done this week, well, then that’s what we call “missed opportunities.” We’ve never been in this position before. Things that didn’t get done for the wedding this week were pushed back until the next week. A time luxury- no more.
But that being said, I think our friends and family have put us in a great position where we do have the major things done and finished. And even though I’m sure this week is going to fly by, I really do think it’s going to be a lot of fun. So thank you again to everyone who has given us showers, accompanied us on errands, given us helpful advice, and who have just plain been excited for us. It’s meant so much to feel supported by everyone we know and to have the confidence of ya’ll behind us. Thank you.

I know I’m picking a random day to leave a long comment, but I just spent at least an hour and a 1/2 reading all the stories you’ve posted. I was crying I was laughing so hard. Little Sydney was playing playdoh behind me asking “Why are you laughing so hard, Mommy?” The Home Depot story and the Santa story were my favorites. You two are so adorable. I got on your site today because my mom told me “Mandy…you just HAVE to go to Josh and Lauren’s site today. He put the cutest Muppets song up!” So, for the last 1 1/2 hours…I’ve been listening to “Somebody’s getting married” while reading funny story after funny story. I loved it. I’m sorry I haven’t read them before now. Now…I can’t wait to hear the newlywed stories!!!! I’m sure you’ll give us married 7 years folk a fresh, humorous outlook on what life was once like once. Congratulations you guys!!! Just 2 more days!!! –Mandy

Poor Willie . . . come back to this site in a couple of days and then maybe then the song (especially the whole “today” part) will make more sense.
Bonus: Whoever can guess where the song came from wins! Yes, you just WIN! (Sorry, but fellow Teaguers are not allowed to play this one — you already know.)
